With another big event coming up this weekend in Stony Plain and St. Albert that will see 71 teams compete including what we believe will be Alberta's first inter-provincial game with the attendance of the U16 Saskatoon Raiders as well as the first ever standalone U10 GPLS event.
2021 has been a season unlike any other, but we want to first take the chance to thank everybody for their patience and understanding as we have, admittedly, scrambled to organize everything.
We also all those umpires who have worked some very long days and travelled many hours in order that these events may happen. We especially want to thank UIC Glenn Stupar, who has worked countless hours to secure umpire crews for all of our weekends.
U12 teams will each play one last regular season game Sunday at 10AM as listed on GPLS.CA. Results must be entered as usual and brackets will be updated and posted after those games are complete.
Cassidy Cup playoff game results should be submitted from the winning team by emailing results@gpls.ca within the 30 minutes of the result. It is important that you reference the age group, bracket game number, and the score for both teams. This will allow us to keep the brackets as up to date as possible.
There is no camping available at Meadowview Ball Park
There is limited camping at Meridian for $20/night, 17-20 spots, unserviced, first come, first served.
