It is with great sadness we learned of the passing of Al Shenduk. Al was a long time umpire, UIC, has been inducted to both the Softball Alberta and Softball Canada Hall of Fame. Al was a big part of the founding of GPLS as he served as the league's first commissioner in 2011. Al's love for the game was infectious and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
